Google brings the traffic… so we need to bring a little search engine optimization (SEO) for the wordpress K2 theme. So we check the metatags…

1. Install Headspace2. Headspace is for me the one for metatags & wordpress.
2. Check if everthing fine…
- do we have wp_head in header.php –> YES, so nothing to do!
- do we have other metatags –> Yes, shoot them down!
- in header.php you can find <!– <meta name=”description” content=”<?php /*bloginfo(’description’); */?>” /> –>
- treat it like I did
3. Go to headerspace under options and give your frontpage some keywords and a description. From now on you can find a box under your wysiwyg-editor for title, description and keywords (metatags).
